Border Fine Arts Otter and Trout WW5 Vintage 1989 by Elizabeth Waugh. Otter with Brown Trout on wooden plinth. Height is approx 7 3/4″ inches, length of otter is approx 7 1/8″ inches, diameter of wooden base is approx 7 1/4 inches. It weighs approx 927 grams. Kit Kat mug in photo is to show size. This item is “River View” by Border Fine Arts, model B0195, a beautifully sculpted limited edition piece featuring a charming family of otters. Created by artist R. Roberts, this collectible is handmade in Scotland and is numbered 752 out of 3000, as inscribed on the base. The sculpture shows a family of three otters in a natural riverside setting, standing and playing amongst rocks and leafy foliage, perfectly capturing the character and detail Border Fine Arts is known for. Brand: Border Fine Arts. Edition: Limited Edition 752 / 3000. Year: 1997 (as per label). 22 cm (8.7 in). 21 cm (8.3 in). Depicts a lifelike otter family, including a vigilant adult on its hind legs and two playful pups. Rich, textured fur and detailed surroundings including layered rocks and natural greens. Mounted on a finely crafted wooden base with a green felt underside and original gold label. One leaf on the base has a small chip. One baby otter has a tiny chip on the nose. Both issues are visible upon close inspection and noted in the photos, but do not detract heavily from display appeal. No original box is included. ? About Border Fine Arts.
