Border Fine Arts’The Understudy’ L150 – Two Border Collies Large Model VGC 1994. Item has been out on display previously but shows little to no signs of wear as a result of this from what I can see. The only tiny thing I could find was a couple of places on the mother’s head where the paint has worn away a bit, as you can see in the photos, but other than that it looks faultless from what I can see. As you can also see on the photos, the base is a bit sunfaded as you can see when the model is taken off it, but this doesn’t matter as its out of sight when the model is displayed as it should be. Item comes as the model scene and the base as two separate pieces, but held together with some brass studs that the scene sits on to keep it stable. To give it the best chance of arriving safe and sound I will separate these before sending and wrap each up, to avoid them banging into each other and potentially damaging them during transit as it is quite delicate, but a beautiful piece. When sat on base, item measures approx. 32cm long, 20cm high, and 18cm deep. Also weighs 2.8kg.
