This item is “River View” by Border Fine Arts, model B0195, a beautifully sculpted limited edition piece featuring a charming family of otters. Created by artist R. Roberts, this collectible is handmade in Scotland and is numbered 752 out of 3000, as inscribed on the base. The sculpture shows a family of three otters in a natural riverside setting, standing and playing amongst rocks and leafy foliage, perfectly capturing the character and detail Border Fine Arts is known for. Brand: Border Fine Arts. Edition: Limited Edition 752 / 3000. Year: 1997 (as per label). 22 cm (8.7 in). 21 cm (8.3 in). Depicts a lifelike otter family, including a vigilant adult on its hind legs and two playful pups. Rich, textured fur and detailed surroundings including layered rocks and natural greens. Mounted on a finely crafted wooden base with a green felt underside and original gold label. One leaf on the base has a small chip. One baby otter has a tiny chip on the nose. This exquisite collector ornament from Border Fine Arts features a stunning depiction of a wolves den, expertly crafted by Richard Roberts in 1995. The large, handmade resin figure stands at 21cm tall and 36cm long, weighing a heafty 3.9kg. The multicoloured sculpture is signed by the artist and is an original piece from the late 20th century era. It comes complete with CoA: number 391 of 2,500. This piece is a must-have for animal lovers and collectors alike, and is sure to add a touch of elegance to any space. In very good condition with no chips marks or discolouration. Original box has not stood the test of time for such a heavy piece. I have put together a substitute which should do the job.
