A fantastic and intricate Tableau scene entitled’Pretenders To The Throne’ produced by Border Fine Arts exclusively for Wheelers of Loughborough. The tableau depicts the Brambly Hedge mice role playing in the magnificent throne room. The tableau measures approximately 11 inches and stands around 8 inches tall. The scene is presented on a wooden plinth and is marked on the back as being limited number 241 of 250. The felt on the bottom of the plinth is signed by Jill Barklem. Brambly Hedge Mrs Apple – BH53 – Musical – Boxed. A musical figure featuring Mrs Apple carrying a tray of drinks on a wooden effect plinth from The Winter Story produced by Border Fine Arts. A hand wound mechanism inside the plinth plays Deck The Halls and the figure including the plinth stands approximately 3 1/2 inches tall. The base on this version has three ball feet and does not rotate. This figurine is in very good condition however, as shown the paper label which is wrapped around the plinth has very slightly faded over time. It comes with its original metal tin.
