“The Haywain” was created for Border fine Arts by the talented artist Anne Wall and issued in 2004 as a strictly limited edition of just 1500 of which this is number 173. Which is engraved on the piece with the artist’s name. It is presented on a polished wooden base, unboxed and will travel to you safely and securely packaged. The Haywain, or Hay Wagon was a large open vehicle, pulled by horses, used to carry loads of cut and dried meadow grass (hay). Anne has created this realistic study of a Haywain being loaded up by a farmer and his farmhand prior to being used to transport the hay back to a storage barn, ready for winter.
