Beautiful vintage Border Fine Arts Mute Swan with Cygnets wildlife sculpture, hand made in Scotland and mounted on its original wooden display plinth. The scene depicts an adult mute swan swimming with a family of cygnets, including several youngsters sheltering beneath the adult bird’s wings. Excellent feather and water detailing typical of the classic Scottish Border Fine Arts pieces. Original “Hand Made in Scotland by Border Fine Arts” plaque remains underneath. Model/reference marking appears to be N164. Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with some age-related marks and light wear to the wooden base. From the photographs, I cannot see an obvious major break or missing cygnet, but please study all photographs carefully as they form part of the condition description.

Border Fine Arts Starts First Time B0702 Large Model + Wooden Base with COA BOXED HAND SIGNED 2001. Item has been on display previously, but shows little to no signs of wear as a result of this from what I can see, although please do check the photos to make sure you are satisfied prior to purchasing. Comes in original box and with a Certificate of Authenticity too. Also has been hand signed by the modeler Ray Ayres on the base back in 2001 as you can see in the photos. Model measures at about 15cm tall, 18cm wide and 24cm long.
