The item is in very good condition with no obvious damage (chips/cracks) which I could find OTHER than the odd possible very minor bump to the grass, plinth etc. (as seen in the pictures). Please see the photos for a more detailed view of the item to judge for yourself its condition. There may be the odd bump/crazing/manufacturing fault in the glaze as is common in vintage/antique/handmade items. I have tried to take photos from every angle so this should help you form a decision as to its condition. Measures roughly 17cm high, 24cm long & 17.5cm wide. The item has been well cared for and has seen very little use. The item will be sent well packaged and not just thrown into a plastic bag/cardboard box. This is a superb example of the seldom seen Border Fine Arts Model No 118 of a “Herdwick Ewe” by their master sculptor Ray Ayres. The Herdwick Ewe was introduced in January 1990 & retired December 1991 & now commands a very high value. The mounted piece measures 6″ x 4.5″ x 4 high, and is in excellent condition. The base of the plinth is covered in green baize & the figurine has the BFA label.
