Like almost every pieces from Border fine arts it is made of resin. Length, 16.5cm, (6.49). Width, 16cm, (6.29). Height, 18cm, (7.08). Weight of both 3.93kg. NO Cracks, No Chips, No Blemishes, No discolouration. Do you think my price is to high? Then why not make a reasonable offer and i will consider it. May show light signs of age related wear especially on the base. I NOW RECYCLE AND SHRED AS MUCH CARDBOARD AND PAPER AS. I CAN TO USE AS PACKING TO REPLACE PLASTIC PACKING MATERIAL. Sizes are from the highest and widest point including base, to the nearest 5mm. Depending on size, weight and value of the item.

Border Fine Arts Classic -‘Not A Moments Peace’ Collie Dog Ginger Cat Figurine Bookends Limited Edition by Kirsty Rolly – B0093 – Rare. Two beautifully sculpted bookends featuring a border collie mother with her puppies, pestering two ginger cats on the farm. Each bookend stands on a wood base. Sculpted by Kirsty Rolly and issued in 1996 as a limited edition piece, number 539 of 1500. Each bookend is approximately H: 16cm W: 16cm L: 19cm. Border Fine Arts closed in 2016, making many of the models even more desirable to keen collectors. Attention to detail was paramount at Border Fine Arts. Alongside their desire to capture the essence of rural life and its changes over the past 50 years, each piece was the result of close study from nature and time and great effort was taken to ensure realistic portrayals of their subject. Adding to their charm each Border Fine Arts Classic model was hand finished, resulting in slight variations in shade and tone. Many of the most famous figures produced by Border Fine Arts represent a bygone era and evoke a deep sense of nostalgia for collectors; from scenes of heavy horses pulling the plough to a depiction of a picnic being eaten out of the back of a Morris Traveller, memories of a lost way of life are stirred. Issued; 01/88 in a limited edition of 1,500 pieces, this piece being 429 / 1,500. A wonderful medium sized figurine in good condition with no nasty breakages, chips or paint loss. A possible professional repair to the base of the female mallard. The wooden plinth lined with a green felt fabric. A wonderful piece of sculpture by Master Sculptor Ray Ayres which is ideally suited to any Border Fine Art collector or Labrador / wildlife enthusiast. I have fantastic feedback for ensuring my fragile items reach you in the same condition they left me. I use ample protective packaging materials to ensure safe transit and good strong boxes which are wrapped and sealed with quality fragile tape and wrapping paper.
