This item is the 1986 Border Fine Arts figurine, signed by Hayton, featuring two red foxes resting side-by-side in a beautifully detailed natural setting. Handmade in Dumfriesshire, Scotland, this charming sculpture captures the intimate and peaceful moment between these woodland creatures. 1993 Limited Edition Border Fine Arts URBAN FOXES Figurine L134 David Walton. Border fine arts figurine – limited edition. Urban foxes – l134. This is a lovely figurine of foxes in an urban setting raiding the contents of a dustbin. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. It was issued in March 1993 as a Limited Edition of only 1250 of which this is number 740 as shown on the figure. It was modelled and is signed by David Walton. From the holes in the base it would originally have come with a wooden stand but, as oftn happens, that is no longer present. It is approximately 4.5 inches (11.5cm) high and 5 inches (12.75cm) at its widest. I have as usual shown a number of pictures which can all be enlarged for you to see the condition for yourself. All white dots/blotches are light reflection not faults – my apologies. I think the pictures speak for themselves but if I can tell you any more please ask. The item is in good condition with no significant damage (chips/cracks) which I could find. Please see the photos for a more detailed view of the item to judge for yourself its condition. There may be the odd bump/manufacturing fault as is common in vintage/antique items. I have tried to take photos from every angle so this should help you form a decision as to its condition. 15cm high & 28cm long. The item has been well cared for and has seen very little use. The item will be sent well packaged and not just thrown into a plastic bag/cardboard box.
