Well, what can I say about this. It is the beautiful Pheasant from Border Fine Arts’ “Game Birds” Collection. This is number A0659 and the bird is absolutely HUGE! I believe it was by Russell Willis and was classed as a Millenium Edition. She weighs in at just under 2.7kg without any packaging (that’s almost 3 huge bags of sugar)! She is 35cm long and 26.5cm high. Attached to the original wooden base, this is one hell of a showpiece for any collection. She has such a beautiful look on her face as well. The very tip of the tail is missing (about 5mm) but apparently, this is repairable with some kind of resin but I wasn’t going to attempt it. This will be very well wrapped for posting.
