This Ray Ayers masterpiece was sculpted for Border Fine Arts in 2000 and is a multicoloured sculpture made of top-quality resin. A substantial piece, more than 40cm in length, it is packed with details that demand repeated viewings. It is presented on a polished wooden plinth. Hand painted in Scotland ” Logging” is a limited-edition piece (104/1750) that depict a farmer and his gallant workhorse as they return from a hard day’s tree felling. As they trek home, we can see evidence of their past labours in the tree stumps along the well-trodden path.
