Border fine arts border collie tricolour, by M Turner BO449B, 1999. Very rare tricolour collie, superbly painted by M Turner. The difference between the tricolour and the more common version is mainly. BFA and Lilliput lane items seem to be attracting people trying to falsely claim for damaged or missing. That they received them damaged and sending there own broken one back, in some cases they have. For those who try falsely claim please note that i take lots of pictures. BFA and Lilliput lane products are made from a cast meaning all them are exactly the same. But they are hand painted, this means that there all different and the paint on an item is. Like a unique fingerprint. I have closely inspected for visible signs of damage or repair and if i found. Any they will be the description. “Rowing Up” Golden Edition No 97 of 350. Handmade in Scotland 2000. The hay has been cut and Loose Raked and the farmer is Rowing Up to form lines of hay prior to Sweeping Up and loading to the haystacks. This figurine is highly detailed and is evocative of a bygone age. It is from my own collection and is AS NEW and in immaculate condition. The colours are clean and bright and it is free from chips, cracks, fading or restoration due to it having spent the majority of its time in its original box. It has never been on long term display. It is from the Golden Edition, being No 97 of 350 pieces specially commissioned by The Posthorn, Castle Douglas and has their plaque cast into the base. The colours of the rowing up cart are more vibrant than those on the standard edition. It is contained within its original box and has its certificate of authenticity. I do not use cheap carriers who dump on your doorstep and run. You will not find a finer example than this.

Border Fine Arts Ebb and Flow, model BO187. From the series Masters of the River. Issued in July 1997 in a limited edition of 2,500, this is number 147. Modelled by Ray Ayres. It measures 9 3/4 (24.7 cm) tall. No damage or repair, the colours are still bright and this is a very realistic model. Hand Made in Scotland. Includes Certificate of Authenticity but no box.
