Border Fine Arts Black Faced Ewe and Collie Figure Statue B104 by Ray Ayres RARE. Item has been on display previously, but shows little to no signs of wear as a result of this from what I can see, other than a slight chip to one of the dog’s ears as you can see in the photos, but other than this looks in pretty good condition to me, although please do feel free to check for yourself to make sure you are happy before purchasing! Figure measures at about 31cm wide, 11cm tall and 10cm wide. Material: Hand-painted cold-cast resin/ceramic composite. Base: Polished wooden oval display plinth. Height: Approximately 7 inches (18-19 cm). Lenght: Approximately 7.2 inches (19-20 cm). Weight: 1025 grams (shown on scale in last image). Two black and white Border Collie dogs with vegetables. Cabbage and carrots garden theme. Scarecrow coat/post in background. Humorous scene of dogs “helping” in the garden. Overall: A minor paint chip on the jacket. Paintwork: Vibrant and detailed with no fading or wear. Details: All elements intact including delicate carrot tops and cabbage leaves. Base: Wooden plinth in perfect condition. Dust/Wear: Minimal surface dust from display, no significant wear. ??
