Border Fine Arts’The Understudy’ L150 – Two Border Collies Large Model VGC 1994. Item has been out on display previously but shows little to no signs of wear as a result of this from what I can see. The only tiny thing I could find was a couple of places on the mother’s head where the paint has worn away a bit, as you can see in the photos, but other than that it looks faultless from what I can see. As you can also see on the photos, the base is a bit sunfaded as you can see when the model is taken off it, but this doesn’t matter as its out of sight when the model is displayed as it should be. Item comes as the model scene and the base as two separate pieces, but held together with some brass studs that the scene sits on to keep it stable. To give it the best chance of arriving safe and sound I will separate these before sending and wrap each up, to avoid them banging into each other and potentially damaging them during transit as it is quite delicate, but a beautiful piece. When sat on base, item measures approx. 32cm long, 20cm high, and 18cm deep. Also weighs 2.8kg. This is a lovely figurine from Border Fine Arts of man shooting with his yellow labradors by his side. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. It sits on a wooden stand and, including the stand, it is approximately 10.5 inches (26.5cm) high. I have as usual shown a number of pictures which can all be enlarged for you to see the condition for yourself. All white dots/blotches are light reflection not faults – my apologies. I think the pictures speak for themselves but if I can tell you any more please ask. For more expensive items these may be the only options offered. We normally post items on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Multiple items over 2KG will be expensive to send to addresses outside the UK and it may be cheaper to send them in two parcels. The item is in good condition with no significant damage (chips/cracks) which I could find. Please see the photos for a more detailed view of the item to judge for yourself its condition. There may be the odd bump/crazing/manufacturing fault in the glaze as is common in vintage/antique items. I have tried to take photos from every angle so this should help you form a decision as to its condition. Measures roughly 20.5cm high & 21cm long. The item has been well cared for and has seen very little use. The item will be sent well packaged and not just thrown into a plastic bag/cardboard box.
