The dramatic and poignant figurine “Winter Rescue” (JH41) was created by Anne Butler for Border Fine Arts James Herriot collection in 1988. It is a multicoloured sculpture made of top-quality resin and presented on a polished wood plinth. It features a shepherd and his faithful border collie as they negotiate the heavy snowfall and carry to safety a Swaledale sheep that was in distress and dire need of rescue.
