Rare Signed & Numbered Comic & Curious Cats Figurine -‘Whodunnit’ By Linda Jane Smith for Border Fine Arts. Highly detailed and collectable ornament by much-loved artist Linda Jane Smith. Beautifully painted scene features a cat sitting atop a pile of books and a chair, a few feathers stuck to its whiskers and a suspiciously empty birdcage. Signed with her initials on the base mount, labelled and numbered on the underside of the base. Number 208/1250, so one of the rare early editions. Excellent pre-owned condition, paintwork in fine order. The gold wire metal cage with opening and closing door! A couple of tiny scuffs, nothing noticeable or that detracts from the artwork.
