A fantastic and intricate scene entitled’Summer Tableau’ which forms part of The Brambly Hedge Four Seasons Tableaux Collection produced by Border Fine Arts exclusively for Wheelers of Loughborough. Summer is the second tableau in a set of four produced in a limited edition of only 999. The Summer Tableau features The Old Vole performing the wedding ceremony of Poppy Eyebright and Dusty Dogwood. The fabulous scene is presented on a wooden plinth and is marked on the back as being number 291 of 999. The Summer Tableau comes with its original box, packaging and envelope containing the Certificate of Authenticity (however the envelope is sealed). The item is in good condition with no significant damage (chips/cracks) which I could find. Please see the photos for a more detailed view of the item to judge for yourself its condition. There may be the odd bump as is common in vintage items. I have tried to take photos from every angle so this should help you form a decision as to its condition. Measures roughly 23cm high & 27.5cm long (base included). Modelled by Elizabeth Waugh. Please note there is some sun fading to the wood base (as pictured).
