VINTAGE TAWNY OWL FIGURINE BY VICTOR HAYTON HANDMADE SCOTLAND BORDER FINE ARTS. This is a stunning sculpture of a tawny owl by Hayton! It is from Dumfriesshire, Scotland by Border Fine Arts. It will look great in any room or would make a great gift! It is in good condition, with some age wear (minor chips). Please examine all photos carefully. ITEM DESCRIPTION: &####127775;Beautiful Chalkware Ceramic Art Deco 1930’s School Boy Figurine 40cm X 43cm&####127775. CONDITION: Good condition with age and use related marks. Few hairline cracks, few paint nicks and small chip on German shepherd back leg apart from that it’s great condition.. Please refer to all the photographs as they are an important part other condition report. Shows some wear consistent with age and use. SIZE: approx 40cm height and 43 cm length. I do not clean or polish my items because I prefer to sell them in the original vintage condition then you can decide to clean to your own preference I like my buyers to see what they looked like when I bought them. (Please just use any given measurements as a rough guide). Please note that with any vintage items, retro or hand-made /finished pottery there may be some irregularities to the glaze and vintage items may show small traces of wear and slight glaze crazing or age related wear. SPLENDID BORDER FINE ARTS RED STAG FIGURINE No L20 BY AYRES FROM 1979 LIMITED EDITION FIGURE THIS IS NO 749 OF 750 CLASSIC DESIGNED BORDER FINE ARTS ITEM IN VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS LOVELY DETAIL AND THE PAINTWORK IS BRIGHT AND TRUE TOGETHER WITH IT’S ORIGINAL WOODEN BASE MADE IN SCOTLAND AND FULLY BASE MARKED AS PER PHOTOS MEASUREMENTS. 8.5 INCHES HIGH. 7.5 INCHES ACROSS THE BASE. A GREAT EXAMPLE OF IT’S TYPE. All our “lovely little things” are Vintage and as such will have signs of age. With this in mind they are carefully described and extensively photographed. Very Good – minor wear or rubbing attributable to light use. The second one, which is much smaller, was made 15 years later in 1993 in Tiawan or China. This figurine is the more rare one made in 1978 in Scotland. Designed and Signed by American Artist, Lowell Davis. Initialed by the Painter. Double Signed – personal autograph of Lowell Davis as well as. The Lowell Davis Stamp. Artist Lowell Davis passed away in late 2020. Manufactured in Dumfriesshire, Scotland by Border Fine Arts. Made of Cold Cast Porcelain. 5.5″ x 2.5″ x 6.75. Rare and Hard to Find!
