Here we have for sale a rare Border Fine Arts model of a rainbow trout. The beautifully crafted hand finished model is signed David Walton and was issued in 1991 from Scotland’s Border works at Langholm. The figure has the maker’s sticker on the base together with its catalogue number 141 and designation “Rainbow Trout”. The model is preowned but in superb original unmarked condition with no damage. It has spent its life in a closed display cabinet. Vintage preowned items are rarely flawless. Please be aware that with vintage items there may be small marks or flaws created in manufacture that are not mentioned because they are insignificant and do not detract from the overall beauty and quality of the item. E assured that if there is any damage or major faults to an item, I detail it in the description or photographs. The figure is realistically modelled and finely painted, recognised hallmarks of Border’s finely produced models.
