BOXED 2001 L/E Border Fine Arts TALE OF GINGER & PICKLES Figurine Annual Tableau. Border fine arts figurine – limited edition #229 of 2000. The tale of ginger and pickles – A0460. This is a lovely figurine of Beatrix Potter animals gathered in front of Ginger & Pickles shop. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. It was issued in 2001 as the Limited Edition Annual Tableau. It would originally have had a Certificate but that is no longer present. It stands approximately 7 inches (17.75cm) high and 9.5 inches (24cm) at its widest. The box does show signs of minor storage wear and tear as pictured. I have as usual shown a number of pictures which can all be enlarged for you to see the condition for yourself. All white dots/blotches are light reflection not faults – my apologies. I think the pictures speak for themselves but if I can tell you any more please ask. For more expensive items these may be the only options offered. We normally post items on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Multiple items over 2KG will be expensive to send to addresses outside the UK and it may be cheaper to send them in two parcels. A fantastic and intricate Tableau scene entitled’Pretenders To The Throne’ produced by Border Fine Arts exclusively for Wheelers of Loughborough. The tableau depicts the Brambly Hedge mice role playing in the magnificent throne room. The tableau measures approximately 11 inches and stands around 8 inches tall. The scene is presented on a wooden plinth and is marked on the back as being limited number 241 of 250. The felt on the bottom of the plinth is signed by Jill Barklem. The Pretenders To The Throne Tableau comes with an envelope containing the Certificate of Authenticity (however, the envelope is sealed). The Pretenders To The Throne Tableau is in very good condition however, Lady Woodmouse is unfortunately missing one hand as shown. Summer is the second tableau in a set of four produced in a limited edition of only 999. In this scene The Old Vole is seen marrying Dusty Dogwood and Poppy Eyebright underneath the exquisite floral arch. Her bridesmaid Primrose, looks on attentively. The wedding takes place on a Midsummer’s Day by the stream. The fabulous scene is presented on a wooden plinth and is marked on the back as being number 291 of 999. The Summer Tableau comes with its original box, packaging and envelope containing the Certificate of Authenticity (however the envelope is sealed) The Summer Tableau has been previously owned and unfortunately there is a tiny flea bite to the ear of Dusty Dogwood as shown. Limited Edition Border Fine Arts Beatrix Potter A1306. Peter Rabbit Centenary Tableau – 2002. Beautiful and Highly Collectable. This piece is numbered 1540 from a limited edition of 2,002 and is hard to find now. This gorgeous ornament is in a very good, clean condition. It is heavy and weighs nearly 2kg and the base measures 26cm x 18cm. Please note there is no box but I will wrap it extremely well.
