Border Fine Arts “A Major Decision” Sculpture. Made in Scotland by Border Fine Arts in 1993. Vignette featuring a Fordson Major tractor with salesman and potential customer. Highly detailed sculpture made of resin and hand-painted. Limited edition of 1500. This is number 1500 / 1500 – The final one produced. Fordson sign at the front has been previously damaged and neatly restored. The back fence post has also been repaired and the front post has a crack along the bottom and a small chunk missing on the inner side. The metal steering wheel is slightly misshapen and has a couple of paint chips. There are some tiny paint rubs, mostly on the back of the customer figure. Otherwise in good condition. The wooden plinth is a slightly darker shade around the edge where the model has been displayed. Some surface wear to the varnish layer. The model (not including the wooden plinth) is approx. 30cm width x 17cm depth. No packaging or paperwork. Will be packaged to a professional standard using high quality packing materials.
