This piece from the Border Fine Arts Classic Collection is entitled “Lean On Me” and measures 19cm in height with a length of 26.5cm. There’s something about donkeys that you just can’t quite put your finger on – but we love them all the same. Perhaps it’s their doleful eyes, as they may be stubborn, but their mischievous and friendly nature always wins us over. The figurine depicts two donkeys in an obvious display of friendship. It’s a warm day in the paddock, the hens are scratching around and the two donkeys are feeling the heat.
