Large and highly detailed Border Fine Arts figurine titled “Coming Home (Two Heavy Horses)”, sculpted by Judy Boyt and part of the well-known James Herriot collection. This piece beautifully captures a traditional countryside moment, showing a farmer leading two heavy horses along a stone wall. The modelling is rich in detail, from the textured coats and harness chains to the naturalistic ground and stonework. The composition has strong presence and is mounted on its original shaped wooden plinth. The underside retains the original “Hand Made in Scotland by Border Fine Arts” label.
