Large and highly detailed Border Fine Arts figurine titled “Coming Home (Two Heavy Horses)”, sculpted by Judy Boyt and part of the well-known James Herriot collection. Up for sale is a beautiful, highly detailed vintage countryside figurine titled “Moses and Bertha” (Model JH3) from the renowned James Herriot Collection by Border Fine Arts. This nostalgic piece was modeled by master artist Ray Ayres and first introduced in 1985. The sculpture portrays a realistic rustic farm setting with Bertha, a large white sow, resting comfortably on a bed of straw while nursing her eight piglets. Perched closely above on a dry stone wall is Moses, the inquisitive black cat, watching over the family scene.
