RARE KING BIRD OF PARADISE. Hand made in Scotland, King Bird of Paradise ref. B0326 and numbered 48 of 950 (see last photo). The edition number 950 is etched in and the number is written in gold paint. Lovely colours, bronze effect to branches and leaves and set on a marble base. Signed by the artist R. There is minor damage to the marble base on one corner (see photo) it is smooth and may have been done at time. Of production (very small curved nick on one short side). Height 11.5 to tip of tail. Fine Detailing throughout with Vibrant Colours, Enhanced with a Bronzed Effect to the Branches and Leaves, and presented on a marble base. This Piece has the Border Fine Arts Label to the Baize Underside of the Base and the Handwritten Artist’s Signature’R. Roberts’ together with the Initials’MLD’ and number 59/950 to the oval plinth.
